Sci-fi horror musical, Little Shop of Horrors follows Seymour Krelborn, a shy orphan who is taken in to assist at the floral shop. Seymour spends his time doing dull responsibilities and fantasizing over his coworker, Audrey. One day, just after an eclipse of the Sun, Seymour finds a strange plant. Entranced by it, he purchases the plant and affectionately names it "Audrey II."  Little does he know that this unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth, and a horrific appetite for human blood.

In this iconic musical I wanted to take a cue the stories foundation from the original sci-fi film and stray away from a cartoon quality. I felt that a base, in reality, sets the tone for the message that of greed in the musical.
