About
For The Last Train to Nibroc, I focused on creating an intimate setting within the vastness of the proscenium to enhance the play’s themes of connection and vulnerability. The design features a raked stage and a smaller, textured proscenium crafted from Kentucky barn wood, evoking a sense of warmth and nostalgia. A 30-foot truck backdrop transitions seamlessly between locations, reinforcing the journey while maintaining the close connection between the characters, Raleigh and May, as they navigate love in uncertain times.
