New Swan Venue Model

In the Winter of 2020, I was working on designing two productions for the New Swan Shakespeare Festival. Unfortunately, the productions were canceled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. I was, however, proud of my work in creating the Venue model for the New Swan Theatre.

The New Swan Theatre is a unique and iconic structure on the University of California, Irvine campus. The objective was to accurately represent the physical features of the building and surrounding area in a digital format, allowing for better visualization and communication of the design.

To achieve this, I first gathered information about the building's dimensions and architectural details from various sources, including blueprints, photographs, and on-site measurements. This data was then used to create a 3D model in Vectorworks, a powerful and versatile design tool ideal for modeling. Using the software's various tools and features, I could accurately represent the building's unique shape, distinctive elements, and intricate details.

Once the model was complete, I then used Twinmotion to render the model in high-quality, photorealistic images and videos. Twinmotion is a real-time visualization software that allows for quick and easy creation of stunning 3D visualizations. The software offers a range of high-quality materials and lighting options that can be applied to the model, resulting in an impressive and immersive representation of the New Swan Theatre.

Video Walkthrough was created using Vectorworks for modeling and Twinmotion for rendering.
