The Pajama Game Receives Praise from StageSceneLA

Scenic Design for the Pajama Game at the University of California, Irvine.

The Pajama Game — University of California Irvine

July 2019 — StageSceneLA has published a glowing review of The Pajama Game, and I’m honored to see our work recognized. The production captured the playful romance and sharp workplace humor of this Golden Age classic, while giving audiences a fresh sense of immediacy.

As the scenic designer, my goal was to create a flexible and visually engaging environment that could shift between the factory floor and the intimate moments of the story. Hearing the review highlight the production’s balance of comedy, music, and visual storytelling feels incredibly rewarding (StageSceneLA).

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do—because scenic design isn’t just about building sets, it’s about shaping experiences that resonate long after the curtain falls.
