Sometimes it’s fun to be the sidekick—especially when the mission involves detailed 3D models and precise CAD drafting. As an Assistant Scenic Designer, I’m often brought on to develop clean, buildable models and technical drawings in Vectorworks. Whether supporting large-scale productions or fast-moving festival work, I help translate scenic concepts into working documents that keep the design process moving forward. These projects reflect the collaborative spirit of theatre—and the satisfaction of making someone else’s vision a little more real.
